Do Clients Recycle ? is a collaborative research article I wrote to push sustainable practices in the hair and beauty industry. I connected with business owner Karine Jackson for research and assistance. My aim was to highlight the issue of a lack of recycling in the beauty industry, demanding change.

Shaping Futures helps young people create a better future for themselves. Shaping Futures, in partnership with SOS Children’s Village in the Philippines, is a training programme that gives young people from developing countries the chance to learn the universal skill of hairdressing. This enables young people to earn a living and grow a career.

The American Ethnologist is an academic journal specialising in social and cultural anthropology. I worked as a research intern, assisting the editor-in-chief with research towards an upcoming issue. My work helped the editor select an area of focus for the issue.
