Lou Christou teams up with Haircuts 4 Homeless
Lou Christou from Thy Barber teams up with Haircuts4Homeless to transform five recovering addicts into trained barbers with his 12-steps to Barbering Academy. Haircuts4Homless, friend of Tribu-te Magazine, is a charity founded by Stewart Roberts MBE, which provides hair services for those in need. It is inspiring to see support for charities which provide such a valuable service to our community.
Minju Kim: Fashion in Motion
Korea-based designer Minju Kim created a Fashion in Motion for the renowned series at the V&A Museum in London, showing her joyful and bold style. And L’Oréal Professionnel created bespoke hair looks for each model in the show. The brand has had a long relationship with Fashion in Motion fashion shows which feature leading global designers and wins many admirers.
British Beauty Week
This October, British Beauty Week returns for its 5th year, so get planning! British Beauty Week is a 5-day beauty festival initiated by the British Beauty Council, appealing to both industry professionals and consumers. The week is a call to celebrate our industry by sharing insights into what we do and why with the consumer. And highlights our influence on communities and the British economy. We want all sectors of the beauty industry, including hair professionals, to come together for events, shows, demos and promotions.
